S P B Charan is a happy man now. His production venture Chennai 600028 has made it big. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the movie starring less prominent actors and actresses has gone on to make it a big hit at the box office.

Charan, a popular playback singer, actor and a successful producer, is now planning big to celebrate the 100th day fete of Chennai 600028. The movie based on Gully cricket has won the admiration of the youths.

Besides holding a cricket tourney to celebrate the success of the movie, Charan is planning a unique function on 5 August in Chennai.

Meanwhile, Charan has also commenced works to on next production venture.

Sources say it has been tentatively titled Aranya Kandam. It would be directed by Kumar Raja, who penned the story and screenplay for a movie titled Oram Po starring Arya and Pooja, which is directed by Pushkar and Gayathri.

Charan knows the knack of rendering a clean and good entertainer. No doubt Aranya Kandam starring newcomers would be a movie to relish for film-buffs when it releases.
